Lake Saint Louis began in 1966 as a private recreational lake community but it was not until 1975 that the community became a city under the Revised Statutes of Missouri.

The residents of Lake St. Louis are part of the Wentzville R-IV School District. Served by two major highways, this beautiful city which makes the rest of the St. Louis region very accessible.
